I have more than 10 years of GIS and Remote Sensing. Currently working as a project manager (GIS) at one of the India's premier Geo-Spatial organization RMSI Pvt Ltd.
I am persuing a research work for application of GIS in Property Insurance for insurance of this sector from TERI University, New Delhi for the degree award of Ph. D.

GIS and Remote Sensing

Currently I am Project Manager (GIS) at RMSI Pvt Ltd since January 2008

Creation of building attribute database and R&d for building attribute extraction using Remote Sensing and GIS dtatabase. At present Responsible Project Planning (Scheduling, resource leveliing, Pert/Gantt),  Cost estimation etc. I am QA Manager for Exposure Source database. My roles and responsibilities involves Tool/Application review for performance testing, Process audit etc. ExposureSource database creation using GIS and RS technology as well as available 3rd party data for building attributes for various hazards.

I worked for  DRDO for almost 10 years

10 Years of GIS and Remote Sensing experience in Research Organization with varied projects and worked in fields of Photogrammetry and GIS. I specialized in Landuse mapping, Landslide hazard zonation etc. I have worked in various strategic projects of national interest.

I had been Guest Faculty for GIS and Remote Sensing at CDAC, NOIDA of Ministry of IB

I am a Research Scholar at TERI University and persuing my Ph. D. research in GIS and Insurance.

I am 31 years of age and married. My wife Niva too is a GIS professional with a blend of soft nature. We are blessed with a baby boy of 6 years. My son Nishchay Sinha is a naughty but cute kid with a good computer skills.
